Polindo Utama helps Bantar Gebang Communities affected by the fire

Bekasi, CSR Team – On Thursday, September 7, 2023, the CSR Team of Polindo Utama, led by Mr. Law Darwin as President Director visited Bantar Gebang to assess the situation following the recent fire incident that occurred on August 19, 2023, aiming to support those affected communities by partnering with the Indonesian Waste Pickers Association (Ikatan Pemulung Indonesia) as representative of the Bantar Gebang waste pickers. Over 23 shelters and 71 people were affected by the fire.

In an endeavor to restore a semblance of normalcy to their lives, Polindo Utama has committed itself to providing essential support. This includes the construction of public facilities like toilets, addressing a fundamental need that often goes unnoticed.
